Florida's Healthy Start
|
Jack Levine, Founder 4Generations Institute, shares his support for the great work of the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions and member coalitions, including the Healthy Start Coalition of Orange County (HSCOC).
HSCOC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that was established by legislation (F.S. 383.14) in 1992 to decrease Florida's high infant mortality rate, low birth weight babies, and to improve health and developmental outcomes for all children. Healthy Start Coalitions across the state are charged with developing and implementing quality systems of care by funding maternal and child health programs in the community. |
